This is a poem about a tiger (tyger) and it's creator.
The Heading itself gives the rhythm of the poem.
In the beginning of the poem, the creator and the tiger are separate.
In the middle they both merge together.
And in the ending they separate back.
In the poem the poet asks the reader many questions about who, where, what , when made the tiger.
The rhyme sequence is constant (a,a b,b for all the stanzas)
There are many Figures of speech. A few are: Hyper bowl, Repetition, Alliteration, personification, Imagery, Litates, etc.
The poet talks about how the tiger lights up the darkness, how powerful he is, etc.
The tiger is a beautiful animal, but yet so terrifying, and fearful.
As the poem goes on, William Blake becomes the creator.
The poet thinks that an immortal made the tiger. This is because to make something that powerful, the creator has to be stronger the creation.
The poet is building on the topic in each growing stanza.
While the creator is creating the tiger, the poet mentions about all the tools which are used to create weapons, so the poet thinks that the creator made the tiger for his safety, or as a weapon.
